Our fences are designed per ISO 10218-1 and ISO 10218-2 guidance for robot safeguarding. Panel mesh size (40×40mm) and height options (up to 2000mm) meet the standard's requirements for preventing inadvertent access.

What panel infill options are available?

Standard: welded wire mesh 40×40 mm opening, 4mm wire. Options: expanded metal, perforated steel (15mm round), or solid steel panels for arc-flash splash zones.

Can fences be used with collaborative robot cells?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our modular panels are used as physical perimeter guards for cobot cells operating in power-and-force-limited mode. They complement (not replace) light curtains and speed/separation monitoring systems.

What heights are available?

Standard heights: 1200mm, 1500mm, 1800mm, 2000mm. Custom heights available. For robots with a vertical reach above 2000mm, we recommend 2000mm + top panel extensions.

Do you supply access gates and interlock hardware?

Accepted Answer

We supply the gate panels and door hinges. Safety interlock switches (magnetic, coded) are sourced from your preferred safety supplier (e.g., Pilz, Schmersal, SICK) and we mount them during assembly.

How are panels connected and anchored?

Accepted Answer

Panels bolt to powder-coated steel posts anchored to the floor. Post base plates are drilled for M12 anchor bolts. Full installation drawings provided with every order.
